Private Hospitals

The change period in the health system in Turkey manifested in the private hospitals, as well as in the public ones. Private hospitals had an important share in the treatment presentation, in a short time. The Ministry of Health gave importance to this share and prepared instructions for private hospitals. Some of these private hospitals become part of international hospital chains. Large and small private hospitals spread all over the country, but the most freguent ones are in big cities like Istanbul and Antalya. Private hospitals presented some of the latest progress in technology and enabled patients to benefit from it. Private hospitals became an inseparabale part of the medical system, providing services to Turkish patients, as well to patients coming from all over the world.
